Ex-Belfast German Canals, Rivers & Cities 2016

Hi Alan,

We’re just back from the German Waterways cruise on the Boudicca, with Fred Olsen lines.
It was our first cruise and we were pleasantly surprised.   The ship was very well appointed, food and staff were lovely and we were happy to be able to board at Belfast and avoid airports.
I found dealing with your staff (Eleanor was very helpful) very informative and efficient.   We received our luggage tags through the post but didn’t receive the information re the on-shore destinations during the cruise, which I believe should have been sent by F. Olsen.
Also, the email comprising the eTicket was sent out in good time, so all in all a very good experience.   The coaches both from Dublin Heuston to Belfast and from Dublin port to Heuston were both efficient and comfortable.

Arabian Voyage  MSC 2016

“Holiday of a lifetime enjoyed by 2 friends, both new to cruising,  my husband our 2 sons and myself.
We were celebrating a special Wedding Anniversary and our Son’s 21st Birthday.
What a holiday…..wonderful clear blue skies and warm evenings for wandering on deck……Bliss.
Cruise was super, great itinerary with a completely new adventure at each and every stop. …
Our booking was a complicated affair as we added our  friends and sons to our original booking, this was expertly handled by Toni of Travelscapes.
Can highly recommend  MSC and Travel Escapes.”

Celebrity Equinox Cruise 2015

“I take this opportunity to thank Toni at Cruisescapes for her time, knowledge and advice in helping us select a fantastic celebrity cruise. We settled on the Ultimate Caribbean  13 night cruise.
We sailed on the Equinox . It was a faultless cruise. Facilities aboard the ship were excellent .There was a fine selection of restaurants on board.
Self-service café was the best we had seen on any of our cruises. The theatre entertainment was top class, as were all the staff on board.
The shore trips were many and varied. We were delighted with our selections: costa rica rainforest, Panama canal ,Mayan ruins and snorkelling
 on the Caribbean barrier reef etc.
Cruisescapes  organised flights and transfers. It was our first time dealing with cruisescapes and it wont be our last.”

MSC Poesia ~ Norwegian Fjords & Stay in Copenhagen ~ August 2014

Just back from our 1st Cruise, safe and sound from our holiday.  All went extremely well.  Did the shore tour to Berlin and saw loads (we had a brilliant guide) we both agree it was well worth doing. The ship / crew / food all first class and we had a brilliant cabin.

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable trip and I would definitely consider a cruise again.

Thanks again for all your help and recommendations

Regards Chris

Sincere thanks.”  Phyllis

Norwegian Fjords, Direct from Belfast – 2014

This to thank you for what was a wonderful Cruise to Norway last week!

You may recall that when initially considering booking I was discussing with you about how the open sea crossing to Norway might be, having some apprehension about this part. You advised me about the best part of the ship to have a cabin. I think it was good advice. We had absolutely no difficulty, it seems the cabin location was important. The superior outer cabin we had was perfect, comfortable, with a great window, and convenient from the point of view of proximity to restaurants, lounges etc., with no long treks involved.
My wife and I have nothing but praise for all other aspects –
Excellent standard of food ;
Cleanliness & hygiene  were reassuring, almost extreme measures about that – hand gel dispensers and reminders to use, everywhere – which we appreciated ;
Room cleaning/ attention etc. . ;
Philippino restaurant and other staff all friendly, courteous and helpful  ;
Entertainment varied and of very high performance standard – classical / show etc. . (became acquainted with and will retain personal contact with the classical guitarist and comedian) ;
Restaurant window table for two was perfect .
Efficient and easy embarkation and disembarkation, and tour arrangements.
Outdoor hot tubs  & pools great ;

The three phase itinerary was excellent.  The initial crossing in sunshine was lovely and relaxing – three days fjord and Norway spectacular scenery – return trip broken by an interesting visit to Lerwick and full day at sea on Friday, again under clear blue skies and unbroken sunshine.   The three stages made it appear to be a longer holiday.

We felt that the size of the Boudicca, a small cruise ship, was very important.  Friendships were easily made, with frequent meetings up.

We had been to Norway before, having stayed in Flam, so it was particularly nice to return there by fjord route.

Once again, our thanks and appreciation for your help in setting up this memorable holiday for us.
