We thought it might be a good idea to let you know how we at Cruisescapes are responding to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) spread.
Undoubtedly our capacity to deliver our normal top-class service for our clients has been tested over the past weeks and will be further tested over the coming weeks as we and the world at large deal with the effects of the growing threat of the Covid-19 virus. Our principle aim must be to do what we can to reduce the risk to our clients, our staff and families and to help in any way we can to mitigate the risk and the spread of the virus.
With this in mind, we are paying close attention to the advice coming from the Health Service Executive, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Irish Travel Agents Association together with equivalent authorities overseas and are following their recommendations and acting accordingly.
In good news, we are delighted to advise that we have successfully repatriated all our clients from their holiday destinations and everyone is home safe and well. Thank you to our staff, our suppliers and our very understanding clients to enable this to happen.
The weeks ahead will see many cancellations of holidays booked and we are aware that a lot of you are anxious to know what is happening. We can assure you that the situation is being dealt with on a rolling date basis and our staff are getting in contact with our clients where we have a definite word to what the situation is, no client will be left unnotified and you will have the opportunity to discuss the options open to you.
We would like to thank our clients for their patience and goodwill extended to our company and especially our staff. Over the coming days and weeks, we may need to alter our opening hours slightly to allow for increased social distancing.
