Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Southampton, England: Depart Late PM

On arrival in Southampton, you will be transferred to the port to board Fred. Olsen Black Watch.

Days 2-4: At Sea

Day 5: Malaga, Spain: Early AM to Late PM

In the fabulous city of Malaga – the birthplace of Picasso – visit the Moorish Alcazaba Fortress, try authentic Spanish tapas or take a tour to Granada and the Alhambra Palace. This 14th century structure, is Spain’s finest expression of Moorish art.

Day 6: Cartagena, Spain: Early AM to Late PM

Cartagena’s Old Town is protected by the city walls. There’s a natural harbour that is watched over by the medieval Castillio de la Concepcion, from which there are superb views. Many of the buildings from Roman Cartagena have disappeared, but some important sites remain, including the amphitheatre dating from around 100BC.

Day 7: At Sea

Day 8: Cannes, France: Early AM to Late Night

Best described as glitzy and glamorous, the stunning city of Cannes on the fabulous French Riviera is world-renowned for it’s annual film festival, glorious beaches and high-end shopping.

Day 9: Nice, France: Early AM Overnight Stay

Known as the “Queen of the Riviera”, Nice is beautiful sun-kissed city that attracts visitors from around the globe.

We arrive in Nice in the midst of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend and tickets are available to buy as part of an excursion (limited availability, call for details).

Day 10: Nice, France: Depart Late Night

With over 4 million visitors a year, Nice is one of France’s most popular tourist destinations. Home to the famous Promenade des Anglais, visitors travel from all over the globe to experience the French Riviera lifestyle and enjoy the hot Mediterranean climate.

A truly beautiful city, it is easy to understand why Nice is just so popular. The glorious palm-fringed beach hugs the azure Bay of Angels on one side, while the other side is lined with Belle Époque buildings. The city centre is just as incredible, with Italian inspired architecture, vast squares and historic monuments to admire and a vast array of shops and market stalls perfect for some retail therapy. Be sure to visit the Italian Baroque Church of Saint Giuame, the Cathédrale Sainte Réparate, the Musée Matisse and the Chagall Museum – Nice’s must-visit attractions.

Day 11: Barcelona, Spain: Early PM to Late Night

Barcelona – Spain’s cosmopolitan second city – overflows with interest and its mood is infused with a vibrant Catalan spirit and heritage.

Day 12: At Sea

Day 13: Gibraltar: Early AM to Late PM

Dominated by ‘the Rock’, a towering 1,396 ft sentinel that guards the Straits, Gibraltar is a pretty, British-controlled territory with a distinctly familiar atmosphere.
