Come aboard the 4* Fred Olsen Boudicca this Christmas for a 14-night cruise along the Indian Ocean. Begin your Christmas Cruise in Mauritius, before setting sail along the Indian Ocean visiting places such as Zanzibar, Silhouette Island and the Seychelles to name just a few destinations.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Dublin to Mauritius:
Depart from Dublin on your overnight flight to the tropical island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.
Day 2: Port Louis, Mauritius
Boudicca awaits your arrival in Mauritius. After your overnight flight, you will be transferred from the airport to the dock where you will be welcomed on board by the excellent crew.
Port Louis, Mauritius’s capital and the busiest city is an exhibition of everyday Mauritian life. Head to the busy market and experience excitement of shopping in Port Louis or take a trip to the sparkling new waterfront to sample local cuisine and the island’s 58 varieties of tea. To get closer to nature, visit the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens.
The ship remains at Port Louis overnight.
Day 3: Port Louis, Mauritius: Depart Late PM
To see a colourful snapshot of everyday Mauritian life, head for the lively covered market, which contrasts with the sparkling new waterfront. Visit the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, with beautiful giant Victoria Water Lillies; explore the nearby 3,000-acre Domaine des Pailles Nature Park, or just relax beside a fabulous Indian Ocean Beach.

Days 6-7: Victoria, Mahe, Seychelles: Arrive Late Night Overnight Depart Early AM
Indulge in some uninterrupted relaxation among the golden sands of the Seychelles in one of the worlds smallest capitals, Victoria. Surrounded by green and blue swells of quietly rippling Indian Ocean and sprinkled with dense forests and tall hills offering breathtaking views, the Seychelles are the epitome of paradise.
Day 7: Cruising Silhouette Island sunset: Arrive Late PM Depart Late PM
Any time spent in the dream-like setting of the Seychelles is an unforgettable experience, with world-renowned beaches, stunning corals, spectacular nature reserves and incredible wildlife awaiting discovery. It takes something very special to rival what can be seen ashore in this paradise archipelago, but sailing by Silhouette Island – the third largest island in the Seychelles – at sunset is sure to create memories which will last a lifetime.
Day 8-9: At Sea
Day 10: Zanzibar, Tanzania: Arrive Early AM Depart Late PM
The beautiful island of Zanzibar has a relaxed pace and diverse flora and fauna, but its highlight has to be the powder-soft white sand beaches offering visitors a slice of paradise.

Day 12: Mamoudzou, Mayotte, Comoros, France: Arrive Early AM Depart Late PM
Situated in the Mozambique Channel of the western Indian Ocean, some 190 miles north-west of Madagascar, Mayotte is comprised of two beautiful French-controlled islands: Grand-Terre and Petit-Terre. A nature lover’s paradise, Mayotte’s surrounding aquamarine waters are home to the largest lagoon in the Indian Ocean, boasting over 250 different species of hard coral. On boat tours around the island, you’ll see schools of tropical fish; while turtles, dolphins and whales are also often spotted in the warm, clear waters too. Alternatively, you could get even closer to the lagoon’s fascinating fauna and flora on an unforgettable snorkelling or scuba diving adventure.
Day 13-14: At Sea
Day 15: Port Reunion, Reunion: Arrive Early AM Depart Late PM
A republic of France, Reunion is like is like a tropical version of the French Riviera, with gourmet restaurants, sandy beaches and chic boutiques. An island that begs to be explored, Reunion’s lush landscapes and vast mountain ranges provide some incredible views and picture opportunities.
Day 16: Port Louis, Mauritius: Arrive Early AM
Your cruise ends today with your arrival back in Port Louis. After Disembarkment you will be transferred to the airport for your departure home to Dublin.
